What You’re About

You’re an experienced legal professional with a strong background in commercial law, ideally from a high-growth tech environment with a proven track record of success in supporting large enterprise clients, including Fortune 500 companies. You bring expertise in negotiating complex agreements,high-value commercial agreements,navigating data privacy and compliance regulations within a global context, and adeptly balancing legal risk with business priorities.. You have significant experience in optimizing legal operations, implementing efficient processes, and leveraging technology to enhance legal function effectiveness. A strategic thinker and trusted advisor, you thrive under pressure, effectively influence stakeholders at all levels, and possess a hands-on approach to getting things done.

What You Will Do

• This role reports to the VP of Finance.
• Own the company’s entire legal function, serving as its lead legal authority.
• Partner with the executive team on strategic initiatives, governance, and risk management with a particular focus on commercial growth within the large enterprise markets.
• Oversee all aspects of legal work: corporate, IP, litigation, commercial contracts, labor & employment, and global compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements of sophisticated commercial agreements, including master service agreements, licensing agreements, and strategic partnership deals with Fortune 500 clients, protecting company interests while enabling business agility and accelerating revenue generation.Develop and implement efficient legal operations strategies, including process improvements, technology solutions, and vendor management, to ensure efficient and scalable legal support for the business
• Develop  company policies, compliance frameworks, and best practices across all jurisdictions.
• Manage and coordinate external counsel to ensure effective, cost-efficient support.
• Intellectual Property Protection Management: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the identification, protection, maintenance, and enforcement of the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, globally.
• Litigation Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of litigation, disputes, and regulatory inquiries, including developing defense strategies, managing outside counsel, and negotiating settlements to protect the company's interests.
• AI Risk Management: Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with the development and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies, ensuring compliance with evolving AI regulations, ethical guidelines, and data privacy considerations.
• Strategic Partnership Agreement and Negotiation: Lead the negotiation and drafting of complex strategic partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and robust legal protection for the company.
