What You’re About

We are looking for a Head of Security with at least 5 years experience in application security research. The ideal candidate has experience in building and managing a successful research team, is familiar with modern cloud-native applications and their associated threats, is able to do guide and do hands-on research work and is excited with interacting with customers and the industry to build thought leadership in the applications security domain.The candidate should be an independent and fast learner who is able to attract talent and lead diverse and balanced team. Experience in startups and deep understanding of technical and marketing aspects of this domain are a plus.

What You Will Do

You will be building and leading a world-class research team in the application security domain. This team will be at the forefront of our mission to develop, build and deliver secure applications. You and your team will responsible for:

• Developing worldwide expertise in the domain of modern applications security,  researching relevant attack trends, methods, vulnerabilities in cutting-edge technologies and tools (for example, open source packages, package managers, SCM, CI/CD environments, and Kubernetes clusters). 
• Investigating attacks against software supply chain, their impact and possible remediation / prevention. Hunting emerging application threats and developing detections and tools to protect customers and the public from those threats.
• Advocating and presenting our product, research, and thought leadership across the industry’s ecosystem  via blog posts, webinars, social media, conferences etc., helping to enhance our brand and product awareness, and promoting our leadership positioning.
• Enhancing the product value by closely collaborating with the product teams to transform research insights into product capabilities. You will enable the effectiveness and efficacy of our product, manage an holistic view on risks for code and software supply chain and map them to detection and remediation capabilities.
• Engage with customer leadership and application security practitioners.
